CPSC Product Registry Requirements

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) maintains SaferProducts.gov, a publicly accessible database of consumer product safety reports. Manufacturers and importers of consumer products must report to CPSC when they obtain information that reasonably supports the conclusion that a product contains a defect that could create a substantial product hazard, creates an unreasonable risk of serious injury or death, or fails to comply with a consumer product safety rule.
